For this weeks photo assignment I shot portraits. I wanted to capture people in their natural state, I felt it was more fun...more them(:

Black & White

For this assignment I shot Black & white Pictures. I was outside waiting to get picked up & it was about to storm and I saw that there were some cool "pictures" in the sky. Like the one above...I thought it kinda looked like a fist(: My problem was showing the difference of colors in the sky & making the pictures stand out.

Portrait Demo

For this assignment we shot portraits of people in our class. It was pretty hard because we had to try and cast a shadow on their faces. I shot one photo out by a window ( window lighting) & another out in the studio. The challenges were trying to get the lighting to be right.

Light Painting(:

For this assignment i shot light painting. I decided to take a picture of emma & kaitlin(:
I think the hardest part of this assignment was surrounding them with light in only 15 seconds.

Panoramic

For this assignment we had to shoot for panoramic. I found it quite difficult to take the picture in the right spots and make them line up perfectly. I know you can still see it in some places but that's okay. I liked it because we had to take at least 3 pictures and seam them together in Gimp, then we had to edit the layers if it needed editing. I found this assignment to pretty fun & streefull at the same time! (:

Event

For this assignment I shot event. It was hard because the lighting in the auditorium sucks(:
& also my pictures turned out very grainy.

Motion Demo

This demo was to teach us how to take pictures of a moving object. Our teacher Mr. Bush rode his bike while we took the picture. We had to follow him with our camera, then snap it when he was directly in-front of us.

Today I learned how to use panning while taking a picture.

Macro

For this assignment I chose to shoot macro. I went for a walk through my neighborhood and saw all these really pretty trees and flowers ect. & I figured they would work well for this assignment. I think my only difficulty was trying to shoot certain focus point and making it stand out from the rest.

Nature/ Landscape

For this assignment I picked nature and landscape. I took pictures of St. Pete's Beach in Tampa Bay, Florida. I had a challenge with the lighting, because the sun was very bright, and it was getting pretty dark outside. So I had to adjust most of my settings.



In this assignment I learned the true beauties o nature.(:

composition assignment

For this assignment we had to take about 11 pictures of, the rule of thirds, pattern, symmetry, texture, depth of fields, lines, framing, perspective, space, balance, and color. We were told to go out into the school or outside of school and take these pictures.

Rule of thirds= " girl smelling flower"

Symmetry= "stairs looking up"
